Because of his drug abuse, Joe is no longer capable of making love, not even to Holly, his girlfriend, who does her best to keep them going, collecting objects found in the rubbish. Joe always tries to obtain some drugs and one day breaks into a house to steal but the owners discover him and instead of reporting him they (unsuccessfully) try to use him for their erotic games. In order to scrape together some money, Holly tells a social worker (who has a particular fetish for a pair of her shoes) she is pregnant. But the swindle is soon discovered.
