The policewoman Anna Manni (Asia Argento) was searching for a serial rapist and killer (Thomas Kretschmann). He makes a meeting place in the Uffizi in Florence. There, however, Anna suffered a seizure of the so-called Stendhal syndrome, a form consciences psychosomatic condition which sometimes occurs under the influence of great art. Briefly kidnapped them and raped the killer while she is ever again overwhelmed by attacks. Finally, they can free themselves brutally by him, but his body disappears into a river. The murders, however, are continuing. Is the killer in the end not dead?
